Lipscomb to Create National Center for Health Care Education
at Nashville Medical Trade Center
Lipscomb University and the Market Center Management company announced they have signed a memorandum of understanding to create the National Center for Health Care Education, slated to open in 2013 at the site of the existing Nashville Convention Center. Bill Winsor, president of the Market Center Management Company, made the announcement at Lipscomb's Nashville Business Breakfast.
First-Of-Its-Kind Medical Trade Center In Nashville
Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen today joined Tennessee Economic and Community Development Commissioner Matt Kisber, Nashville Mayor Karl Dean along with Bill Winsor and David Osborn of Market Center Management Company (MCMC) of Dallas, Texas in announcing plans to locate the worlds first medical trade center on the site of the current Nashville Convention Center at 601 Commerce Street.
